Frédérique Penault-Llorca, MD, PhD

Frédérique Penault-Llorca, MD, PhD is a Professor of Pathology at the University of Clermont-Ferrand and CEO of the Comprehensive Regional Cancer Institute Centre Jean Perrin in Clermont-Ferrand, France. She is also Deputy Director of the INSERM 1240 IMoST research team and Head of the Molecular Biology Platform at Centre Jean Perrin. Specializing in female cancers, Prof Penault-Llorca’s research focuses on biomarkers in breast, colorectal, gastric, and lung cancers, particularly in relation to targeted therapies and immunotherapies. She has published over 500 peer-reviewed papers and is an active member of several pathology and oncology societies.
