Icro Meattini, MD is an Associate Professor at the University of Florence and a Clinical Oncologist at the Florence University Hospital, where he leads the Breast Unit and Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team. He has authored over 350 peer-reviewed papers and is a principal investigator for several phase 2/3 trials. His research focuses on breast cancer, multimodal treatments, and cardiac toxicity prevention. Prof Meattini is an active member of European Society for Radiation Oncology, European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer, and Associazione Italiana di Radioterapia ed Oncologia Clinica, and regularly participates as an invited speaker at international conferences.
