Michael Gnant, MD, FACS, FEBS is a Full Professor of Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where he also serves as President of the Austrian Breast & Colorectal Cancer Study Group. Prof Gnant has published more than 600 original papers in the field of clinical and translational breast cancer research and has led numerous large-scale clinical trials. In addition to many distinguished awards and honors, he is mentoring several excellence programs in many countries and serves as hosting co-chair of the St Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference in Vienna.
